Kapi and Hop: Big and Small
Capybara Cartoon for Kids
Tiny Hop wants the high red berries, but he is much too small. Then a runaway tangerine rolls somewhere big Kapi cannot fit. Who can help?
Read-aloud story
Kapi the big capybara sat on the mossy bank by the warm pond. A tangerine sat on his head. Hop the tiny blue frog went boing, boing, boing to the berry bush. He looked up. The red berries were very, very high.
Hop jumped with his arms up. Boing! Too small. He jumped even higher. Boing! Still too small. He landed with a bump, crossed his arms, and puffed his cheeks in a funny little pout.
Kapi went thump-thump over to Hop. He lay down and lowered his big head with a kind smile. Hop looked at the head, then at the berries, and his eyes lit up. Hop hopped on, and Kapi stood up tall. Up went Hop. Pop! He picked the biggest berry and tossed it into Kapi's mouth. Plop! Kapi munched with puffed cheeks.
Then the tangerine wobbled and slid off. Bump! It rolled into a hollow log. Kapi pushed in his nose, but that was all that fit. Hop patted Kapi's leg and pointed at himself. Then he slipped into the log. Rumble, bump! Pop! Out flew the tangerine, and it landed on Kapi's head. Hop boinged out and cheered. They gave a tiny high five and laughed. Later, they rested in the warm pond and sighed a long, happy sigh.
