Splish, Splash, Puddle Jump!

Rainy Day Song for Toddlers

2 min 21 sPublished October 25, 2026

Splish, splash! ☔ Jump in the puddles with Granny Hoot, Tamkin, Lila, Bimble, Fenna and little Wobble in a cozy claymation sing-along! Pull on your red rain boots, open the umbrella with a pop, listen to the raindrops plip, plop, quack like a little duck, wiggle off the drops and look for the rainbow when the sun peeks out. 🌈

About this video

Splish, splash! ☔ Jump in the puddles with Granny Hoot, Tamkin, Lila, Bimble, Fenna and little Wobble in a cozy claymation sing-along! Pull on your red rain boots, open the umbrella with a pop, listen to the raindrops plip, plop, quack like a little duck, wiggle off the drops and look for the rainbow when the sun peeks out. 🌈

A gentle rain song for toddlers and preschoolers: sing it on a rainy day, on the way out the door in your rain boots, or anytime you hear the pitter-patter. 💛

What your child learns

When it rains, we pull on our rain boots, open the umbrella and splash in the puddles, and after the rain the sun peeks out with a rainbow.

Lyrics

Splish, Splash, Puddle Jump!

Splish, splash, puddle jump! (splish, splash!)
Rain boots go thump, thump, thump!
Drip, drop, the rain is here,
Splash and give a great big cheer! (hooray!)

Red rain boots on, left and right, (left, right!)
Stamp them down and pull them tight,
Open the umbrella, pop! (pop!)
Hear the raindrops, plip, plip, plop!

Splish, splash, puddle jump! (splish, splash!)
Rain boots go thump, thump, thump!
Drip, drop, the rain is here,
Splash and give a great big cheer! (hooray!)

Little duck goes quack, quack, quack! (quack, quack!)
Raindrops roll right off his back,
Flowers drinking, sip, sip, sip,
Wiggle, wiggle, drip, drip, drip! (drip, drip!)

Splish, splash, puddle jump! (splish, splash!)
Rain boots go thump, thump, thump!
Drip, drop, the rain is here,
Splash and give a great big cheer! (hooray!)

Pitter, patter, slow, so slow,
Raindrops tapping soft and low,
Peek-a-boo, the sun is out,
Rainbow colors all about! (all about!)

Splish, splash, puddle jump! (splish, splash!)
Rain boots go thump, thump, thump!
Drip, drop, the rain is here,
Splash and give a great big cheer! (hooray!)

One more splash and one more jump,
Wave bye-bye now, thump, thump, thump!
