Granny Hoot greets the little ones from her balcony in the giant oak tree house and announces today's story, Where Are Bimble's Glasses? Down in the yard, Bimble yawns, bumps his head softly on the door frame and squints at a blurry world. Oh no, his glasses are missing! He even hugs a pumpkin and says hello, until Tamkin giggles that he is over here. Lila promises, "Don't worry, Bimble. We will help you find them!"

The friends search the flower meadow, the lily pond and the windmill hill. Tamkin digs so fast that petals fly everywhere. Lila suggests they look slowly and carefully, up high and down low. Bimble swims through the pond and finds only bubbles, and Tamkin peeks into the windmill and finds nothing. On the hilltop Bimble feels sad, and Lila puts an arm around him and says they are here with him.

Then Lila looks slowly from his toes to the top of his head, and there, twinkling in the sun, are the glasses, resting on Bimble's head all along! Bimble slides them on and cries, "Wow! I can see everything!" Tamkin admits he looked too fast, and the three friends share a warm group hug. Lila and Bimble sing Look Up High, Look Down Low. Little ones can learn to look slowly and carefully, and that friends always help each other.
