A gentle colors song for toddlers and preschoolers: point, name each color and sing along at home, in the garden or on a walk. 💛

What your child learns

Colors are all around us in the garden: red apples, yellow sunshine, green frogs, blue berries, orange carrots and purple flowers, and we can point to each one and name it.

Lyrics

Colors, Colors, Look and See!

Colors, colors, look and see! (look and see!)
Point and name them, sing with me!
Red and yellow, green and blue,
Clap your hands and wiggle too! (wiggle, wiggle!)

Red like apples, reach up high! (reach up high!)
Yellow sunshine in the sky,
Stretch your arms and sway, sway, sway,
Red and yellow, hip, hooray! (hooray!)

Colors, colors, look and see! (look and see!)
Point and name them, sing with me!
Red and yellow, green and blue,
Clap your hands and wiggle too! (wiggle, wiggle!)

Green like froggy, hop, hop, hop! (hop, hop!)
Blue like berries, pick and drop,
Green and blue, now turn around,
Bend down low and touch the ground!

Colors, colors, look and see! (look and see!)
Point and name them, sing with me!
Red and yellow, green and blue,
Clap your hands and wiggle too! (wiggle, wiggle!)

Orange carrot, pull it slow, (pull it slow)
Purple flowers, row by row,
Sniff the flowers, mmm, so sweet, (mmm!)
Tap, tap, tap your tiny feet.

Colors, colors, look and see! (look and see!)
Point and name them, sing with me!
Red and yellow, green and blue,
Clap your hands and wiggle too! (wiggle, wiggle!)

Colors, colors, look and see,
Wave bye-bye and sing with me!
